Welcome to the
Glenoaks Elementary School Library

Our new school library opened its doors in September 2011 after months of planning, designing and imagining a literary space that our students would not only enjoy visiting every week, but be inspired to read!  Demolition and construction began in the summer of 2011 and the first class visits began shortly after the new school year kicked off.

None of this amazing library transformation would've been possible without the financial support of the Glenoaks Elementary School Foundation and the many parents, teachers and staff who contributed dollars and manpower to make it all happen.  By participating in GESF's two big annual fundraisers; the Gala & Auction Event and the Jogathon, you helped our school raise nearly $40,000 last year-- more than $30,000 of it going to our new library!

Our Foundation's commitment to the library continues. We have pledged to continue providing necessary financial support to the library so that we can keep the space and book catalog current and relevant for our students.  This library, the new heart of our school, must be a space where young minds and imaginations are encouraged to grow.

Please continue to show your support in whatever way you can

Monetary donations are always welcome and always needed!  Contact our Foundation President Karen Veloz at mailto:klveloz@mac.com(ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!)
