The Glenoaks Green Team is a group of concerned parents and students who are interested in lowering the environmental footprint of Glenoaks Elementary School.
We have initiated or supported the following programs on campus:

Bottles and cans recycling on campus

New Drop Off Recycling Program/Contest

One Flier per Family Policy
- Flowers in front of the school

Kindergarten Garden Bench

Green & Clean Classroom Kits for every teacher

Walk 2 School Wednesdays
Green Team also has a special after school club for students. We meet the first Friday of every month to focus on problems effecting our planet and ways our students can make a difference.
Enrollment is in June for the following school year. 35 students are accepted into the program on a first come - first served basis. We are currently full for the 2010-11 school year. Enrollment for the next school year will be in June 2011.
You do not have to be enrolled in the after school club to be a part of Green Team. Anyone can support our initiatives and anyone can be on the Team!
