Golden Oak Assemblies
Golden Oak Assemblies are held once a month. During each ceremony, a particular grade level features the Character and Ethics word of the month through a performance and presents a short program. Special recognition awards are presented.
It is the school’s intent to provide a continuous program of character and social development for students. Each month, a different Character and Ethics theme is highlighted (see calendar) and integrated into daily lessons and classroom activities. The teacher or student selects who most exemplifies the monthly character theme. These students receive the Golden Oak Award presented at the Golden Oak Assembly each month. The recipients receive a certificate and their picture is displayed in the main hallway. To see the Golden Oak Award winners click here
